Promise Me Shawl Pattern

This knitting pattern pdf is for a crescent shawl knit top-down, with garter stitch body, full flower-inspired lace border, and gentle edge. You can start the lace edging at any point, making shawl size easily adjustable! 

Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 78"x 16" / 198 cm x 40.5 cm

Yarn: 534 yds /488 m DK weight yarn. Sample knit using Sirocco by Richard Devrieze Yarns in Awareness. The sample used 100 grams for the main body, 80 grams for the lace, and 20 grams for the edge and bind-off.

Needle Size: US size 8 and 9 / 5 and 5.5 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts  

Notions: Tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers

Gauge: 16 sts = 4" / 10 cm in Garter Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements)
