Simple chunky cables and DK yarn, make for a quick toe-up sock knit, great for gifts or cozy house socks for yourself.

This knitting pattern uses Judy’s Magic Cast-on method and a modified Short-row heel.

Size: Adult S/M/L/XL

Fits: Foot circumference: 8 (8.75, 9.5, 10.25)” / 20.5 (22.25, 24, 26) cm, includes .75" of negative ease

Finished Measurements: 7.25 (8, 8.75, 9.5)" / 18.5 (20.5, 22, 24) cm foot circumference

Yarn: Calf-high 246 yds / 225 m DK yarn with nylon or extra twist that achieves gauge. Sample knit in Classic DK by Yarn Ink in Rustic. It's important the yarn have nylon or extra twist for durability.

Gauge: 22 sts = 4" / 10 cm

Needle Size: Two US 5 / 3.75 mm 16" (40 cm) circular needles for foot, or needles for your preferred method of small-circumference knitting
