Dream Ridges Shawlette is a sideways triangle scarf with decorative eyelet edging. Great for that single skein of dreamy yarn sitting in your stash. A wonderful creative knitting project for beginner shawl knitters. This is a written knitting pattern pdf. Knit on the bias, you can start the edge at any time, making pattern easily adjustable.
Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 68" x 13" /173 x 33 cm
Yarn: 400 yds / 376 m fingering weight yarn that achieves gauge. Sample shown in Nifty by Plucky Knitter in Dreamy.
Size: US size 5 / 3.75 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts Notions: Tapestry needle, safety pin or removable marker
Gauge: 24 sts = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements)
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Notes: Knit sideways on a bias. Easily adjustable, simply add or subtract repeats of Body Rows 1-4 to the desired length of the body. It’s also a great creative knitting project for mini kits: switch colors starting at Row 1.
