Key and Button Cowl Knitting Pattern

The asymmetrical cowl is knit sideways and shaped using m1r increases. Colourway is knit one colour at per row, using slip stitches.

Mosaic charts are provided for RS rows, written for WS, and full written instructions are also provided. Must be seamed.

Finished Measurements: Upper circumference x back depth 21 (24)" x 6" / 53 (61) cm x 15.25 cm after wet blocking

Yarn: MC & CC - approx 200 (252) yds / 183 (230) m each; light fingering weight yarn; sample knit in MC - Merino Singles by La Bien Aimee in Winter, CC - Dyed in the Wool by Spincycle in Leith.

Needle Size: US size 3 / 3.25 mm needles

Notions: Tapestry needle, blocking wires (optional)

Gauge: 28 sts x 42 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking
